B.S. in Human Biology and Linguistics | Research Assistant
I graduated UCSD in 2023 with a B.S. in human biology and B.A. in general linguistics. I did my senior thesis project on characterizing the sigma-1 receptor in multiple CNS regions of ALS patients. I’m currently studying the behavior of TDP-43 protein in axons of different part of the motor system. I also help with data analysis in other on-going projects in the lab. My main interests are microscopy, pathology, and quantitative image analysis. In the future, I want to study disease mechanisms from both molecular and morphological levels. In my free time, I enjoy digital art, birdwatching and skiing.
