Tissue Donation

Tissue donation is a very generous action. For researchers, it is definitively the most precious tool for their investigation. The tissue we get from ALS and healthy individuals always enrich the studies and help to gather more information about causes and consequences of ALS in the central nervous system. The tissue is used to confirm observations made in animal/cellular models at different labs around the world working in collaboration to understand the underlying causes so we can defeat ALS. The more tissue samples we have, the more information available to find a solution for ALS. With this, we really would like to thank all the patients and families who very generously donate their tissues, and we would like to let them know how valuable their contribution is for researchers worldwide in order to advance ALS research.
